The Uplands area is found adjacent to the Oak Bay and Cadboro Bay Victoria neighbourhoods. The Uplands are a prime example of a garden suburb as designed in 1907. Uplands was created by John Olmsterad who was responsible for designing many upscale and famous neighbourhoods and parks in the early part of the 20th century in North America. James Bay

James Bay in Victoria BC is actually the oldest residential neighbourhood on the west coast of North America north of San Francisco.
